Ai started learning music in Yamaha Music School at the age of three. Since her childhood, she learned various genre of music such classic and jazz, and played piano and electric organ. When she was in high school, she started songwriting and playing keyboard in pop/rock band. For college, she entered in Musashino Academia Music in Tokyo, Japan and studied major in classic piano performance and minor in vocal accompaniment. After graduation, she worked as a piano teacher and a pianist in Tokyo, but after few years she decided to go back to college to study jazz and pops more. She entered in Berklee College of Music with scholarships from Berklee, Rotary Club Foundation (Japan) and Kashinomeai Fundation (Japan) and Crowd Funding based support from her fans, and graduated major in Professional music (Performance and Contemporary Writing and Production). Ai is currently based in Boston, MA and actively perform in several bands and touring New England area.
